What work does Halovaj handle?: We prepare document packets for taxes, marriage, divorce, residency, and citizenship. We organize forms, checklists, and supporting papers. We are not a law firm and do not appear in court or give legal advice.
How do I start a filing?: Call the toll-free line or use the contact form. A coordinator sends a checklist and an appointment window at the Flushing office.
Can I buy books and kits without an appointment?: Yes. The shop sells printed guides, kits, and supplies on their own. Use Buy now or Add to cart. Pickup is available at 4633 188th Street in Flushing.
Where do shop orders ship from?: Orders ship from the New York office. Ground is five to eight business days. Express is two to three. Pickup is free.
When is ground shipping free?: Ground shipping is free on shop orders of $75 or more before tax.
How do I book an online consultation?: Open Consult, choose a desk and a Basic, Silver, or Platinum package, then pick a video slot. You pay the starting fee to hold the time. Any added fee stays inside the published range and is quoted in writing first.
Are consultation fees refundable?: Yes, only within 24 hours of payment and only if the slot has not been used. After 24 hours the retainer is earned. The later verdict on your file does not change the fee.
Does paying Platinum guarantee an approval?: No. We advise according to law and help you file in a lawful way. The final decision is only on your profile and documents. Consultation charges do not depend on that verdict.
How do refunds work?: Unopened shop goods may be returned within 14 days of delivery. See the refund policy for sealed kits, digital worksheets, and document-preparation fees.
Do document-preparation fees get refunded?: Intake and assembly fees are refundable only if work has not started. Once a packet is in progress, the fee is earned. Shop purchases follow the refund policy.
What languages do you take intake in?: English and Spanish at the desk and on the toll-free line during office hours.
